Two Paws Up is a licensed kennel home, located on my farm in Arvada, CO. At the back of
my home I provide a designated "doggie room" for my guests. The dogs are free to run in
and out of the room into a large, 3/4 acre fenced yard. There they can run and play with their
friends, roll in the grass, or simply lounge in the sun or under a tree and take in the "aromas".
There are pools in the back for added entertainment, and a private fire hydrant for all to
enjoy.
Their room is furnished with crates and stalls, which are used for feeding and sleeping. They
have heat in the winter, and cool air in the summer to keep them comfortable. I offer a home
atmosphere where a dog can be a dog, and each pet is treated as if they were my own.
Senior dogs, or dogs in need of special care are kept inside my home.
At the owner's request, each dog will receive a complimentary bath before going home.
Cats are kept inside my home, with access to an enclosed cat porch where they can safely
watch the wildlife and bask in the sun.

MUST BE CURRENT (INCLUDING BORDATELLA)***

I prefer that the dogs be kept on their own diets, so I request the owners provide food. If
food is to be provided by Two Paws Up, there will be an additional charge of $2.00 per day,
per dog.

The Story of Two Paws Up Kennel

In January 1994, I moved into a home that had been previously owned by Dr. Lee Phillips, a veterinarian. Upon his
death in 1991, he bequeathed his estate to his animals. I was later asked by the trustee of the estate to become the
caretaker of this home and Dr. Phillip's animals. I took this job without hesitation, realizing the honor that was being
bestowed upon me to live in such an amazing environment. After a few months, and several requests from friends to
care for their animals here, I decided to quit my real job and take care of animals full time. After nine years, I
purchased the property and as a condition of Dr. Phillip's will, the proceeds were divided between two animal
charities. I love what I do and I'm so happy to share my home with all of the animals. All my "guests" are treated as
mine, and everyone goes home clean, happy, and tired!
